Generally, career counseling is focused on helping you clarify your interests and values while also assessing your personality and skills to find a career you’ll love. Career coaching is generally helping you put what you identify into action and more focused on your future goals. As a Certified Career Counselor, I use a blend of both approaches in my work with my clients.
You’ll start with the Career Exploration package which is 5 sessions, and includes any assessments that will be completed. For most clients, this is an ideal length of time to identify your interests, skills, and choose your action steps towards the career you want to pursue. If you need additional help with the job search, it’s recommended that you sign up for either a 3 session-package or one session at a time as you need.
Due to COVID-19, all sessions are currently taking place via videos meetings. In the future, sessions can be held either via video or in-person in Lafayette, Colorado.
My clients are motivated women who are feeling stuck in their job or career. Many of these women are looking to make a career change or re-enter the workforce after time at home with their children. I help my clients figure out their strengths and superpowers, so they can find a fulfilling career and create a life they love.
